Rossdale News for September 2023

Thank you Rossdale!

Thank you so much to everyone who responded to the call for household donations for the young Ukrainian family that had been staying in Rossdale. Anastasia, Ivanka and Bodrun were overwhelmed with the kindness of Rossdale residents. The children were overjoyed to have some toys and the donated goods meant that Anastasia can begin to set up a home.

The family was not able to take everything but we have ensured the balance will go to other displaced Ukrainian people via the Free Store or to others hosted by Colleen and Orest in Rossdale.

First board meeting - in person

The first board meeting with two new members will be September 19th at 7 p.m at the Rossdale hall. The community is welcome to attend.

Coyote awareness

As we share the river valley with wildlife, there are coyotes around. Keep small pets on a leash, keep your distance, and clap your hands should you encounter a coyote while on a walk.
